Associate Producer:
The TFCnow! operations team is looking for a highly organized individual with good oral communication skills. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in people management and has a keen knowledge of video technologies and Internet streaming concepts. Must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively delegate. Self-direction and follow-up skills are important as well as the ability to liaise between different departments.
Job Responsibilities include:
Conceiving, writing, editing and publishing online content, including frequent updates, slide shows, special features and more.
Work with and liaise with different departments to complete specified tasks
Assist the operations head and other producers with creative and organizational tasks as necessary
Maintain and monitor network assets of the TFCnow! web service
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the TFCnow! service
Manage a team of video transcoders and promote a positive work environment for forward momentum
Conceiving and executing new VIDEO ideas
Pulling traffic metrics and creating reports as necessary
Writing promotional copy for web section's home page and sub-topic pages
Requirements:
1-2 years experience with video transcoding or video editing
Ability to communicate effectively with different department heads
Exceptional inter-personal skills and oral and written communication skills
Proven experience managing schedules and employees to achieve desired results
Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
Web content, Internet or Editorial experience

Knowledge of video streaming and transcoding technologies
HTML editing skills
