Types of common credit card error codes
Below are the different credit card error codes you may encounter during the payment process:
Payflow 12 - Declined
Check the credit card number and other transaction information to make sure they are entered correctly. If this does not solve the problem, please call your credit card issuer.
Payflow 23 - Invalid account number.
Check your credit card number and make sure you enter this correctly.
Payflow 24 - Invalid expiration date.
Check your credit card's expiration date and make sure you enter these correctly.
Payflow 114 -Card Security Code (CSC) Mismatch.
Check your CSC and make sure you enter this correctly. The CSC is usually a 3 or 4-digit number that is not part of the credit card number. This is usually printed on the signature field at the back of the credit card.
For MasterCard and Visa, the 3-digit CSC is on the signature field at the back of the card. For American Express, the 4-digit number is printed on the front
